The Tshwane Youth Arts Festival has articulated six keys that are instrumental to our success as an organisation that has a social responsibility to the community: 1. Uplifting the Performing and Visual Arts within the schools of Gauteng; 2. Belief in placing the learner first, with an obligation towards the development of our children’s talents; 3. Having reached the point of success through professionalism, a commitment to continue to strive for excellence in what we believe in; 4. Involving International Groups in the Festival, thus introducing them to our Rainbow Nation; 5. Creating job opportunities for theatre technicians and facilitators; 6. Providing a platform for those learners with disabilities. Without the Tshwane Youth Arts Festival they would never have had the opportunity to perform on the State Theatre stage.
